These are the ideas that I came up with when thinking of the narrative of my thriller opening scene. The first idea I came up with was the "Killer's Routine", the idea is very basic and unoriginal so I decided not to peruse that idea any further. As I am re-submitting this coursework, my original idea had the same narrative as the "Botched Robbery" idea, the idea was appealing as I had all the work I had previously done for it and all I had to do was improve it. However, I wanted a new slate so that idea was scrapped. The third idea is "Man in a field", this idea would have very little plot but would have a variety of camera shots and editing to make up for the lack of narrative. Though, in the end I thought the idea was too basic. Finally, the winning idea was "Kidnapping", I feel like the thriller genre is rife with murders and serial killers so I decided to peruse a different crime and ended up with kidnapping. I feel that this idea has the greatest potential to be a cracking opening scene of a thriller.
